What you are looking at here is an advanced prototype of the flying roadster AeroMobil 3.0 which was unveiled in Vienna during the Pioneers Festival. The festival celebrates entrepreneurship, technology, and innovation, and what else can be more innovative than giving the everyday folk wings to fly to work!
This beautifully designed fully functional prototype of a flying car was developed and built in only ten months.
This car is being tested in real flight conditions since October 2014. Initially certified by the Slovak Federation of Ultra-Light Flying, it is also tested using a regular flight-testing program.
So the question arises “When will it be available for purchase?”
Here is what the AeroMobil team has to say:
“After the completion of the final configuration, we will be able to set the manufacturing date. We expect to start delivering the product in the next two or three years. The sales process will start earlier.”
Two to three years? I guess I better get started on my flying lessons than!
